Macfadden is seeking a Personal Services Contracts (PSC) Coordinator supporting the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA). The PSC Coordinator will be providing support to the PSC Contracts Team. The USAID/OFDA PSC ContractsTeam provides support in the negotiation, award, and administration of US Personal Services Contractors (USPSCs) in accordance with Federal and Agency acquisition and assistance rules, regulations, policies and procedures to effectively maintain OFDA’s long term workforces and surge capacities. The PSC Coordinator reports directly to the PSC team’s manager, and assists with many tasks across the team (see specific job duties, below).
Essential Functions
Job duties:
- Develop and maintain relationships within the client organization
- Communicate with senior clients, OFDA staff, and USPSC candidates
- Proofread documents
- Maintain databases and lists
- Produce materials for meetings (e.g. make binders)
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (equivalent work experience may be considered)
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain an interim and final Secret security clearance
Required Experience:
- 1-3 years or more of work experience with civilian agencies, military, industry, or non-governmental organizations. Internships count towards experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Humanitarian experience (in the field or research)
- Environments where work was both fast-paced and the demands on quality were extremely high
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English
- Superior computer skills. High skill with Microsoft Office 2010 Office Suite in a network environment. Ability to learn new software and databases quickly.

U.S. Citizenship is required; selected candidate must be able to qualify for a government sponsored security clearance.
