Major Function
The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer works under the supervision of the Conservation Impact Coordinator and is responsible for supporting the development of Conservation Impact function across the whole WWF Myanmar conservation programme.
Major Responsibilities
- Support on the monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of all WWF Myanmar conservation work
- Support the coordinator in the implementation of the information system and tools for landscape and project levels
- Lead the M&E compliance of assigned projects.
- Support the on-time completion and submittal of Technical Progress Reports liaising with those Project Leads as needed;
- Lead the submission of KPIs and data according to WWF international requirements.
- Ensure that project data are collected with quality and support the teams in the field collection of data.
- Manage WWF proprietary databases, ensuring data consistency, regular updates and compliance to the policies. Provide support to other staff in the use of the mentioned tools.
- Provide inputs to the development, review and update of all necessary M&E systems and tools for country and project levels.

Requirements
· Bachelor Degree in environmental or conservation management, development studies, applied statistics or data analysis, or other relevant fields.
· Academic training or a degree in business administration or business management is an advantage.
· Good understanding of conservation and development issues in Myanmar
· Knowledge of the policy/institutional context related to conservation in Myanmar
· At least 2 years of practical experience in highly analytical fields, ideally with experience in Myanmar/SE Asia/Asia
· Demonstrated experience in collecting, manage and analyze data
· Database management experience is an advantage
· Fluency in written and spoken English and Burmese is required
· Proficiency in MS Office
